Yes, 100% eligible. NIOS is a Government of India operated board and it’s recognized by MHRD or Ministry of Human Resource Development and enlisted in COBSE (council for board of school Education). All open school in India if they are COBSE enlisted then these boards are equivalent to any other regular school board like CBSE, ISC etc. Apart from NIOS or National Institute of Open School in India there have more than 7 Open school Board. All are Equivalent to regular school board and eligible for NCHMCT JEE exam
